AC Milan : Associazione Calcio Milan S.p.A
A professional soccer club in Serie A, Italy. Its hometown is Milan. The home stadium is Stadio Giuseppe Meacha.
The full name is Asociazione Calcio Milan, which is abbreviated as "A.C. Milan" or, more simply, "Milan". The "inter-Nacional Milan" split from the same root is called "inter" or "inter Milan". Milan and Inter will play the Milan Derby. The same stadium is also called San Siro, but Inter is called Stadio Giuseppe Meacha.
It is one of the three teams with more than 10 Serie A championship records, and a star is added every 10 wins on the team emblem of the uniform. The other two teams are rivals Inter and Juventus.
It is the Italian club that has won the UEFA Champions League (7 times) and the second-most championship in Europe, and has won five UEFA Super Cups and two UEFA Cup Winners' Cups. It was the team that won the most international matches (18 times) in the 2013–14 season, along with Argentina's CA Boca Juniors and Spain's Real Madrid CF.
In the 2010s, he lost his past status due to poor performance and was unable to play in the Champions League, but in the 2020s, he succeeded in winning the league in the 2021-22 season as the potential of the players who reorganized the team and recruited was in full bloom.
The biggest rival is Inter, which also uses the same stadium. The derby between the two teams is Derbiedella Madonna, commonly referred to as the Milan Derby in Korea, and is one of the hottest derby in football.
He has also maintained a rival relationship with Atalanta, which belongs to the same Lombardy state, since 1920. In recent years, he has also been in bad relations with Liverpool, who played in the 2004–05 UEFA Champions League final and the 2006–07 UEFA Champions League final. However, they belong to different leagues and have only met twice in the 2004/05 season and 2006/07 season, so they are not at the level of rushing with their eyes lit up like rivals in the same league. AC Milan and Liverpool met at Anfield to hold a legendary match.
There is a rivalry with Juventus, but it is not an emotionally bad relationship. When Berlusconi was the owner of the club, he played a friendly match called the Berlusconi Cup every preseason, and when Gianluigi Buffon was injured in the 05-06 season, he first proposed Christian Abiati's lease. According to Juventus' fan column site "Juventino Woods," there is no strong team in Italy that does not rival Juve, and Milan and Inter, who are in the lead, naturally compete with Juve. However, it is not a blatant growling relationship like Inter and Ube, but an emotional relationship that uses the expression "gentle rival." Nevertheless, it is listed along with Inter, Fiorentina, Rome, and Turin, which were written in the column.
There is certainly a tendency among the media and football experts to see it as a rival. He is also the two teams that have recently left the most obvious mark in the league with the Champions. Regardless of fans' perception, it is often entangled as a rival. And from the standpoint of the two teams competing for the league title in the first place, there will be a sense of rivalry.
It uses the same stadium as the inter. The stadium's official name is "Stadio Giuseppe Meazza", which was renamed in 1980, but since Giuseppe Meazza is Inter's legend, AC Milan fans shorten the official name "Stadio San Siro" to "San Siro". San Siro is Italy's largest football stadium with a total capacity of 80,018 people.
In February 2015, Milan left San Siro to declare the construction of the new stadium. The goal is to build a stadium with a total of 48,000 seats for use from the 2018-19 season, and it is predicted that about 의300-320m will have to be invested in the construction. The construction will be undertaken by Arupp Group, which already has experience in building leading stadiums, and aims to apply the latest techniques to prevent expected noise pollution from leaking out of the stadium. In addition, it has the advantage of being easy to access and manage as it has a planned site right behind the new club's headquarters building. However, the club's new stadium planning site is not yet owned by Milan, and the current owner of the site will decide on the final two of the four bidders, including Milan, by the end of April, and will announce the final candidates by June. On 28 April 2015, the owner of the district's site, Piera Milano Foundation, officially announced that he had chosen a project to build a new stadium for AC Milan and would start negotiations for six weeks. On 8 July 2015, the permit for use of the new stadium's planned site was dropped, and construction is expected to begin shortly.
