Liverpool FC English Premier League professional football club.

The English Premier League's professional football club is based in Liverpool, Merseyside. The home stadium is Anfield.

Founded in 1892 and under the directors Bill Shankley and Bob Paisley, he spent his heyday called the Red Empire, and was the protagonist of the miracle of Istanbul and the miracle of Anfield. The club is the only club in England to have a permanent Big Year title, winning 19 first division titles and the most UEFA Champions League titles.

It has a fairly curved history, and it is a team that has certainly walked downhill as much as it is a glorious time. Since the team's founding in 1892, it has been a glorious time and a long time of frustration due to a sharp decline, and in 1959, Bill Shankley was appointed to reorganize the team and achieve solid results, laying the foundation for the team's worldwide reputation. And retired honourably and handed over the baton to Bob Paisley, who assisted him. Paisley has led the team more successfully than his predecessor, creating wonderful moments of glory that will still be talked about.

Liverpool's heyday, from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s, along with Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush, conquered Europe and England with a hot offensive football led by Graham Sunes, the all-time number one legend in Scottish football history. The name Red Empire was referring to Liverpool at this time because it colored Europe red beyond England. Successive coach Joe Fagan and coach Kenny Dalglish also performed well, but they began to descend from the throne after 1991 when Dalglish resigned due to the shock and aftermath of the 1989 Hillsborough disaster. The tragic accident, which left 96 football fans dead, left players, coaches and Liverpool fans devastated the entire club, and the glorious team they had been working on since Bill Shankley began to crumble. The Hillsborough disaster signaled the league's reorganization into the Premier League in 1992, and Liverpool had long been out of touch with the league championship trophy. In the end, Manchester United FC overtook Liverpool's record of winning 19 league titles in 2011, and Liverpool's league title was stopped at 18 championships before the 2019-20 season. However, he stood out on the European stage and won the Europa League (2001) and the Champions League trophy (2005 and 2019).

He also won three trophies in the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Europa League during his 2000–01 season with manager Gerard Ulier, although not as much as in his previous glory. Rafael Benítez took office in the 2004–05 season and made a splash with counterattack football, which dramatically narrowed the gap between offense and defense based on the 4–2–3-1 formation, winning his fifth UCL title in the 2004–05 season, winning the FA Cup in the 2005–06 season, and finishing second in the 2008–09 season. Fans expected Benitez to create a second heyday in the club's history, but his performance plummeted in 2010, overshadowing the league's second-place finish in the previous season, and Benitez was forced to step down as manager. Liverpool later entered a full-fledged dark period, breaking away from the Premier League's Big Four status until coach Jürgen Klopp took office. Benitez is clearly a capable master and the quality of the team at the time of second place in the league was excellent, but the whole cause of the Liverpool slump was with Tom Hicks and Gillette owners, who acquired Liverpool in 2007. Even though he did not keep the investment promised to Benitez properly, world-class players have escaped from the squad thinner than other big clubs. Gillette - The owners of the Hicks clearly showed poor management for Liverpool's future and were eventually acquired by owner John Henry in 2010.

It was Liverpool, who had a serious slump under the systems of Roy Hodgson and Kenny Dalglish, who took over after Benitez. However, fortunately, Dalglish's victory in the League Cup trophy in 2012 was a big gain. Brendan Rodgers, who later took office, also made a splash in the 2013-14 season with Luis Suarez at the forefront, but failed to win the league with 84 points, and Rodgers, who failed to overcome Suarez's absence the following season, was replaced two years later.

With Jurgen Klopp's appointment, a fast, dynamic pressure football based on Gegen Pressing slowly came back to life, finishing fourth in the 2016-17 season, fourth in the 2017-18 season, second in the Champions League, second in the 2018-19 season, and winning the 2019-20 Premier League.

Among the big clubs in the Premier League and the big six, it is a team that shows a particularly strong side on the European stage. From 2005 to 2009, he won one Champions League title, one runner-up, one semi-final, and one quarter-final, and went to the Europa League semi-finals in the 2009–10 season, when he failed. Since Benítez left, he has only performed poorly in the European competition, but has regained his reputation in the European competition since Jurgen Klopp took office. In the 2015-16 season when Klopp took office, Liverpool reached the Europa League final with only the under-completed members, winning both home and away against Manchester City, a Premier League ecosystem predator in the 2017-18 season, and eventually reaching the final. In the 2018-19 season, he beat Tottenham Hotspur FC 2-0 in the Champions final to lift the big year. The results are also the most unique in England, with six UEFA Champions League trophies and three UEFA Europa League trophies.

It is popular not only in England but also in Scotland and Wales, and is also popular worldwide beyond Europe, especially in Southeast Asia. Thaksin Shinawatra, a former Thai prime minister, failed to buy a Liverpool club and bought Manchester City FC instead.

When Carlsberg was a uniform sponsor, he traveled to Malaysia or Indonesia more often than Manchester United, where alcohol-related advertisements were banned due to Islamic law, and many complained that Carlsberg's uniform was still being sold before he sponsored.

As mentioned above, pre-season friendly matches were also held in Southeast Asia due to the popularity of Southeast Asia, and after Klopp's appointment, the policy of refraining from long-distance flights is expected to increase the regret of Southeast Asian fans. For reference, as if proving this popularity, two out of nine official sponsors of the club are rooted in Southeast Asia.

Egypt's status in Egypt is more than a national club as Mohamed Salah, Egypt's national team ace, has been active in Liverpool. The Manchester United club where Park Ji-sung played in full swing is similar to the status he had in Korea. 사설토토

In the United States, it is popular in Boston, where there are many Irish people. Not only is the official fan club located in Boston right now, but there is also a separate Liverpool category in NESN, a broadcaster dedicated to the Boston Red Sox owned by Fenway Sports Group. He also posted a cheering tweet for Liverpool before the 2018 UEFA Champions League final on his Red Sox tweet account.

In Korea, there are many fans who entered after the miracle of Istanbul. Fan clubs are formed online and offline, and the size is quite large. In September 2018, the official Liverpool fan meeting and Liverpool game group viewing were held at Lotte World Tower under the name of "LFC World." Liverpool legends Louis Garcia, Sami Hippia and Jason McArthur visited Korea, and a large screen was installed in the grass square to broadcast the match between Liverpool and Tottenham. Liverpool beat Tottenham 2-1 on the day, and Lotte World Tower received great cheers for holding a laser show with Liverpool cheering phrases and Liverpool legend names to commemorate the event.
