The emblem is shaped like a horizontal arrow (fight chicken) on a soccer ball. The club's motto is "Audere EST Face," which means "To Dare Is to Do" in English and "To be brave is to challenge."

The document name was currently set through discussion as Tottenham Hotspur, the most common name, but in the past, the domestic name was not unified, so it was called differently by media. Tottenham Hotspur, Tottenham Hotspur, Tottenham Hotspur, etc. Among them, the most commonly used name is "Tottenham," which many people are still familiar with and use.

In August 2005, a joint committee of the government's press conference decided to mark the English Premier League teams at the time, and the standard was set as "Tottenham Hotspur," which has been followed by the media since.

It was founded on 5 September 1882 by students of the All-Hallow Church, centered on Bobby Buckle in Tottenham, and was named "Hotspur F.C. A few years later, the team members bring John Lipshire as the first president, reorganizing the team, and supporting the children by finding land for the team. In 1884 he changed his current name to Tottenham Hotspur FC, and in 1895 he switched from amateur to professional.

Tottenham participated in the Southern League, a regional league from 1896–97 season, as well as in the Interstate League and the Charity Cup.

From 1896–97 to 1898–99 he participated in the United League as a midweek league, finishing eighth, second and third in three seasons.

In the 1899–1900 season, he participated in the Southern District Combination and finished second.

During the 1900–01 season and 1907–08 season, he participated in the Western League, winning one championship, one second, two third, three fourth, and one eighth.

During the 1901–02 and 1903–04 seasons, the London League, along with the Western League, finished second, first and second in three seasons.

Tottenham appointed Frank Bretel, who led Bolton as the first manager in 1896. Bretel bought John Cameron, who played in Everton and elsewhere, to reorganize the team, and in 1899 Cameron took over as manager and won the 1899-1900 Southern League. In 1899, White Hart Lane was used as the home stadium, and in 1901 it won its first FA Cup title, defeating Sheffield United 3–1 in the final rematch (2–2 in Game 1). This was the first and only case in which a non-league club won the FA Cup since the creation of the Football League.

He joined the Football League Division II tournament in the 1908–09 season, finishing second in that season, and was promoted to Football League Division I in one season.

He struggled in his first season in the first division, but won the final match against Chelsea, relegating Chelsea to 15th place, where he remained in the bottom of the league.

Tottenham were initially the only team in North London, but in 1913 Arsenal moved from Woolwich to Highbury, North London, where fans in the North London area split to form a rival.

World War I ended the league early in the 1914–15 season, when Tottenham were the last in the league at the time. During the war, White Hart Lane became government-owned and turned into a factory producing war supplies. During this period, Tottenham had to move around the Homerun Ground, the home stadium of Hibery and Clapton Orient (the predecessor of Leighton Orient FC). After the war, the league resumed and the first division expanded from 20 existing teams to 22 teams. The 21st club became Chelsea FC, ranked 19th in the first division of the previous season, and Arsenal, ranked 5th in Division 2, was relegated to Division 2 for the first time since joining Division 1. The North London derby has become the fiercest rival in London.

Tottenham then won Division 2 and immediately promoted to the first division after a season. On 23 April 1921, he won the FA Cup Final 2 times in a 1–0 victory over Wolverhampton. In the 1921–22 season, he finished second, just below Liverpool, breaking his first division record. However, after staying in the middle and lower ranks outside the top 10, coach McCillum left in the 1927-28 season and Tottenham was demoted back to 21st place. Tottenham spent five seasons in Division 2 before being promoted again to Division 22 in the 1932–33 season. He had a good season, finishing third in the 1933–34 season, but was relegated back to the bottom of 22nd place due to a series of injuries in the 1934–35 season. He remained in the second division for eight seasons, winning Division 2 in the 1949–50 season.

After Arthur Lowe took office in 1949, the team was transformed into a new team by introducing a speed-oriented offensive football called "Push and Run" centered on Bill Nicholson and others. In 1949–50, he was promoted to the first division after 15 years, and the following season, Bill Nicholson's performance in the 1950–51 season, led to his first win in the first division. He started his first game with a 1:4 defeat to Sir Stanley Matthews' Blackpool F.C. in October and November with a 7–0 win over Jackie Milburn at Newcastle. He beat Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 in the final match and won his first division title as soon as he was promoted to second-place Manchester United by three points. The following season, 1951–52, was four points behind Busby's children Manchester United, finishing second. However, in the 1952–53 and 1953–54 seasons, he creaked to finish 10th and 16th in the league, and in the 1954–55 season, Arthur Lowe stepped down from his post in 1955 due to stress-induced illness. Before leaving, I signed a player who was a formidable player who won the FWA Footballer of the Year twice for Danny Blanche Flower. 메이저사이트

Chief coach Jimmy Anderson was appointed to replace Lowe. He was almost demoted in the 1955–56 season and barely remained in 18th place, finishing second in the 1956–57 season thanks to the performances of Blanch Flower and Bobby Smith after Bill Nicholson took over as coach in 1956.The 1957–58 season also finished third. Anderson rebuilt the team well by recruiting or promoting outstanding players such as Cliff Jones, Terry Medwin, Peter Baker, Ron Henry, Terry Dyson, Maurice Norman, and Bobby Smith.
